The Box Four chain employs an 8-speed platform in a similar strategy to the Prime 9 but at a great price point. The chain is polished and then chemically treated to achieve corrosion resistance. We engineered the inner link spacing to be a little tighter than other 8-speed chains and is optimized for use with our Box Four Wide/Narrow Chainring.

The Box One chain is protected by our dual-coating. We start with Nickel plating which aids in corrosion resistance and then top it off with the "Diamond-Like Carbon" layer. The DLC is as fancy as it sounds; a synthetic diamond nano-coating that turns up the volume on hardness, wear-resistance, and slickness. All Prime 9 chains have chamfered shifting edges, solid plates and solid pins to safeguard durability. Our unique inner link spacing is engineered to grab those modern wide/narrow chainrings. We chose to modernize the 9-speed platform due to the chain's spirited reputation. The new C13 chain is a vital element of the Ekar GT mechanical groupset; along with providing efficient transmission, in gravel riding the chain must work perfectly to help smooth quick shifting, always guaranteeing maximum security. It must also be strong and durable and the Ekar GT C13 chain delivers impressively on all fronts. The C13 chain partners effectively with the special profile tooth design of the Ekar GT 1x13-speed crankset chainring and sprockets for safe, efficient, smooth transmission. Despite its narrow profile, the C13 chain is very strong. Its C60 steel inner links with nickel-Teflon surface treatment resist the greater wear and tear they are subjected to on gravel trails. The entire chain, produced in the Campagnolo facility in Vicenza, undergoes a special lubrication process with an ultrasonic bath system that guarantees the special lubricant formula coats all the links evenly and thoroughly. New Super Record 12 Speed chain: slim, robust, smooth and precise. The chain, in all its apparent simplicity, plays a critical role in the cyclist's safety and in optimizing the entire transmission mechanism. The new Super Record 12 Speed chain also had to be redesigned from scratch to work with all the other new transmission components.
